Hello Yarnies!

January was a wild year, but we made it! And here we are in February already.

Upcoming events: Meetups on Sundays from 3-5 (or later if you want to keep hanging out!) at 5th Street Public Market upstairs food court will continue this month. Look for Signal, the chicken!

Saturday, February 10th and 24th from 10am-3pm: Ewethful Fiber Mill in Halsey is having an open shop/sit & make. If you go, maybe hit up The Stitching Parlor in Brownsville (Monday-Friday: 11-3, and Saturdays 11-2. located at  104 Spaulding Ave. Brownsville, OR 97327, no website but quite the charming shop) and maybe Knitty Gritty in Lebanon if you’re feeling adventurous (they have a great selection of tools for knitting, crochet, spinning, a wonderful selection of Malabrigo and also a great in-house dyed yarn).

Call for Member-Makers and local businesses:

We are working on a page for our website that features local yarn craft related indie makers: handspun yarns, yarn/fiber dyers, pattern designers, pom pom makers, notions/tools, bag makers, etc.

If you would like to be included on this page, please email yarnies541@gmail.com subject line: “local makers” with a short blurb (2-3 sentences) about you/your product along with website and/or social media links for customers to reach you. One image to grab folks attention (head shot/product image) is encouraged also. Feel free to share with other local yarn-craft specific makers you may know.
