Laura: Always Be Kind Yarn

Oh HI! My name is Laura Salisbury, and I am the heart behind Always Be Kind Yarn, I am an Indie-dyer known for my vibrant self-striping and rainbow yarns. I am also a knitwear designer and a craftivism advocate. My love for yarn crafting began early and has remained a significant part of my life. My yarn-dyeing journey and craftivism for kindness, inclusion and Suicide Awareness and Prevention came out of the profound grief of losing our daughter Kaylan to suicide in 2020. You can find my creations at www.alwaysbekindyarn.com

Mindy: Daisies & Dirt Creations

Hi! My name is Mindy Hjelmberg and I am a crochet artist.  I began learning to crochet in Spring of 2020 and haven’t looked back since!  I enjoy making amigurumi, dolls, loveys (the little security blankets with an animal head on them) and baby hexagon blankets. Alyssa McFarland

Alyssa McFarland is a Eugene, Oregon-based artist specializing in acrylic painting and mixed media collage. Originally from Newark, Delaware, she began painting at the age of nine and was inspired to obtain a Bachelor of Fine Arts at University of Delaware. After 30 years of residing in Seattle, Washington, Alyssa relocated to Oregon, bringing with her a rich artistic background that included experiences volunteering at Critical NW (a local Burning Man event), and Puppeteers of Puget Sound. Over the years, her work has evolved into a dynamic fusion of acrylic paint and layered collage elements, exploring natural themes. Her pieces are known for their expressive colors, spontaneous textures, and the thoughtful interplay of organic and abstract forms. In recent years, she has taken to adding discarded elements to her work, including scrap yarn and produce bags, finding beauty in the every day while making use of castaway things. You can connect with Alyssa and see more of her work at her website: alymcf.wordpress.com or at
Red Bubble or Ravelry

Brandon: The Hook Wizard

I make crochet hooks that look an awful lot like wands. Each hook is hand carved by me. “The hook chooses the wizard”. Find me on instagram @thehookwizard or on The Hook Wizard Ko-Fi page
