Pick up of your entries after fair is on Monday, July 28th from 11am-6pm. You will be given a ticket when you drop off your items that you will use to claim your items at pick up.

OK, First! Gather what you want to submit. Open Show entries in textiles are limited to 1 per “class” and 25 per “department” (department refers to Textiles in general).
You (or someone) needs to physically drop off your fair entries in person on the designated drop off dates. YES you CAN submit your entries during physical drop off.

find “textiles”: note that the page number may change each year.

The 2nd page of fair book has important dates and info, these may change each year.

the textiles opening page has important information for you to review.

Now here is where you decide what division and class your projects fall under:

DIVISION is generally “how” the project is made:

1501 dolls and toys (class 04 knit & 06 crochet)

1502 knitting

1503 crochet

1504 artistic handiwork, please see fair book for detailed description of what this includes.

1506 laces, embroidery, tatting

1510 weaving

1511 handspun yarn

1512 golden seniors Please see fair book for more info as this division has multiple crafts in it.

1517 special categories-article made by an adult with a disability.

**1520 Professional: Yarnies541 members who also sell your items “professionally” please read division 1520 as it likely pertains to you.

CLASS refers to what the item is, such as “gloves, socks, mittens” or “caps, hats”, etc.

For example: with our annual group fun submissions, we enter the item under DIVISION 1501 (dolls and toys) CLASS 04 for knit or CLASS 06 for crochet.

And just for fun, the fair has department contests. the Pot holder Contest and Holidays in July are interesting submission options for fiber artists.
