Mid-February 2026 Yarnies541 news:

First, maybe just breathe. It feels like we are all holding our breath collectively waiting for the next terrible nonsense to show up. Also, you need to breathe real deep if you want to yell really loud.

Important news: Our beloved 255 Madison announced last night at our meetup that they are closing, effective at the end the night 2/17/26. We understand it was a surprise to the business and staff as well. We don’t know any details, but we will miss the staff and their enthusiastic hosting of Yarnies541! So, with that, we say goodbye to a great hosted space and we are on the lookout for a new Tuesday meetup location in Eugene. Stay tuned!

Weekly Thursday meetups at Oakshire Commons in Springfield will remain.

Additional Important News: We are hearing about some concerning data collection changes coming to Discord next month and please know we are trying to figure out where to land (us and everyone else using Discord!). This is really a season of rapid changes, please hold on with us as we navigate these bumps. Like the state of the world isn’t enough, sheesh.
