Nine days until Halloween! Hello Yarnies541 community and happy mid-fall, we’re solidly in the “Ber” months. The Member-Maker page is up on the Yarnies541.org website. Paid-Tier members: if you have a craft related business, let us know and we’ll list it on the member-maker page. You can email Yarnies541@gmail.com with any questions.

The club has been discussing a “helping hands” community building idea that we were introduced to by our friends at UnWind: a craft lounge located in Klamath Falls. They have a few folks that come to the shop during sit & stitch once a week and offer some assistance to other crafters with questions or not-too-complicated project issues. Think “I don’t know what this word means in my pattern”, or “can you help me understand this bind off”. This is friendly craft attention and simple help, NOT a class or in-depth “how to”. It’s meant to be what many of us would naturally do with each other when we’re confused with the craft and allows folks who may not be as embedded in our community feel like they can approach and learn, connect, etc. Taylor has made a sign up through this link if you are interested in being a Yarnies541 helping hand during specific sit & stitches at both shops. A great way to support and continue to build our craft community. Link for sign up here: Yarnies541 helping hand sign up link
