Business meeting this Sunday, March 16th 530pm-7pm at Cozy this month (285 E. 5th Ave. in Eugene). We’ll be determining how we’re showing up for Knit for Food Knit-A-Thon 2025 (April 5th this year) among other general business. Ewethful Fiber Farm open mill shop special shop day for owner Kim’s birthday! noon-3 on Saturday, March 29th. Pop in for some social fun, shopping, or to just check it out and wish Kim a Happy Birthday! Special shout-out to the shop kitty “Wish” who is really the sweetest thing ever. Ewethful Fiber Mill shop is located at 891 W. 1st in Halsey, Oregon.
I was at the Stringfield Yarn Collective space earlier today and I saw the floor guy there! And that means things are happening! We will keep you updated as we know more!
Looking ahead:
Yarn in Public (YIP) day is Saturday, June 14th. We have a space in Springfield at the Library (City Hall Plaza) steps from 10-4 secured. Likely there will be a Eugene location as well, possibly the 5th street alley like last year, that was a great space. More will be discussed at business meetings as we get closer to June.
Lane County Fair is July 23-27 this year. Be on the lookout for more Yarnies541 info about our representation at fair this year and start thinking about your projects to enter! Fair was really fun last year. It was so great to see our members and their beautiful work really show out for the fair! https://www.atthefair.com
Black Sheep Gathering is coming up in June also: June 27-29 this year. http://www.blacksheepgathering.org
