Welcome Fall 2024! 

A very cozy crafting season has officially begun! Check our calendar at Yarnies541.org for upcoming events! Please note, not all events are Yarnies541 events, our calendar lists multiple meetups/events/etc. Tuesday meetups in the community and monthly business meetings are the only “Yarnies541 official” events”. Our local LYS Cozy has sit and stitch times that we post on our calendar along with other craft community gatherings.

Our Monthly “business” meetings are set to start up again. However, because of upcoming events conflicting with our regular Third Sunday of the month meeting (Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival changed their dates this year), the next business meeting is TBD. We will send out an additional newsletter when the date and location is confirmed. 

The craft movie night at Art House last month was a HIT! It was great seeing so many crafters enjoying our community while watching “Hook” and just having a great time. So much fun! We’re all hoping Art House chooses to continue these events.

Tuesday, September 3rd meetup at Ninkasi tasting room patio, located at 272 Van Buren in Eugene. We’ll be gathering there around 5pm-ish. There are many food trucks and shops nearby and outside food is welcome at this venue, you could even bring your tonight’s leftovers if you want!

September 21 & 22: Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival in Albany, Oregon: Oreogn Flock and Fiber Festival This is free to attend and shop in marketplace. See website for cost of workshops/classes. Saturday 9-5 and Sunday 9-4 at Linn County Expo Center: 3700 Knox Butte Rd E, Albany, OR 97322, USA

Summer Stitch-O-Rama with Cozy (https://www.cozy-yarn.com/) is still going through the end of September. Finishers party TBD (likely early October), as soon as we have that information, we’ll let you know!
