What’s shakin’? Read on!

Last Tuesday’s meetup at Oakshire was well attended and we had new folks show up (Hello Dana and Sage)! Thank you to everyone for welcoming new Friends to our community! 

On Saturday, August 17th, some of us attended the Hello Handcraft Hangout at the Eugene Garden Club. Hosted by Axel from www.fashionclownette.com It was SO FUN to meet other crafters and gather together! There are so many of us in this area, it’s really energizing to see that other makers are working hard to build community also! Looking forward to future collaborations and expanding and strengthening the crafting network in our area!

TONIGHT! AUGUST 18TH! CRAFT MOVIE NIGHT! Sunday, August 18th at 7:30pm at the ArtHouse. We’ll be watching “Hook” with low light (vs no-light) so we can still stitch along while watching the show! More info and ticket purchasing here: https://www.eugenearthouse.com/movie/crafters-movie-night-hook

Monday, August 26th: Sit & Stitch at Shelton McMurphey Johnson House 6pm-8pm. Bring your lawn/camp chair for the patio area or join us on the steps while we enjoy the outside weather. Inside the SMJ house is open as well if it’s too chilly, but Oregon in the summer means sitting outside! Free event, and donations gladly accepted for the SMJ House capital campaign Garden Terrace project. Hope to see you there. Visit smjhouse.org
