Sorry for the last minute notice, this has been a busy month already! Please join us for our monthly meeting at Growers Market from 5-7:30pm. Growers Market is located at 454 Willamette St. in Eugene.

We’ll be discussing ideas for upcoming events and get-togethers. There has been a lot of talk about submitting fiber crafts into the Lane County Fair. Let’s inundate the fair with our amazing stuff! Possibly an entire roost of chickens, as many of us seem to have succombed to the Emotional Support Chicken pattern! Also planning for Knit and Crochet in Public Day coming up on Saturday June 8th. Come to our meeting: show and share 5-6 and general meeting business 6-730.

We have had a great time meeting new folks at our Tuesday night meetups. Please consider checking one out and crafting our local community!

Ewethful Fiber Mill (891 W. 1st St. in Halsey, Oregon) is having an open studio this Saturday April 20th from 11am-3. Very sweet place, and good company.

Knitty Gritty (824 Main St. Lebanon, Oregon) has open sit & stitch on Saturdays from 11-close. They have a great selection of yarns and every time I’ve been there has been a great experience, check them out!

Shelton McMurphy Johnson House sit & stitch Monday April 22nd from 6-8pm. No admission fee, donations accepted to support their capital campaign. 303 Willamette St in Eugene, Oregon. www.smjhouse.org

Handmade Market put on by the Salem Etsy team is coming up on Saturday, April 27th from 10-4 and held at the Scottish Rite Center at 4090 Commercial St. in Salem, Oregon. Some our members are vending there and it should be a great event! Free parking, free admission, and even raffles!

ALSO on April 27th: LOCAL YARN STORE DAY!!! Our incredible local hub Cozy (www.cozy-yarn.com) is featuring a springtime release party and trunk show with Tumalo Fiber (www.tumalofiber.com). Lots of exciting and fun things happening in our community!
